The condition known as Presbyopia is usually due to the natural aging process where the mature eye may lose the ability to focus on near objects. Advances in contact lenses and materials have made bifocal contact lenses available to a group of users who may well prefer not wearing glasses. Many people are fitted with contacts from an early age to correct vision problems and the transition to bifocal type contacts can be easy for them and give them clear vision without the need for a set of reading glasses.
